Personal Words From Lance

Hi. I just thought I’d write about myself in order to help you get to know me a little better. Just the fact that you are here reading this, comes with great gratitude, particularly when considering all the other things you could be doing with your valuable time. Being in business, I find it interesting how it is often thought that someone could possibly detach their personal life with the one in the business world. I agree that in working my business I am hired by each client to work diligently for them-- to either find or sell them a home. However, I believe it is impossible for anyone to completely separate what one does in business from what is the substance that drives them in their life as a whole. That is why I am taking the time to write this. You see, it is important for each of us to think about what is really important in this life. I can’t imagine anyone walking through life without thinking about such questions as “Where did I come from?” and “Where am I going?” and neglect to dig into the facts until they have found the answers to such questions. Do I know all the answers? Of course not. Do I know what I need to have assurance as to where I’ll go after this life and how I should conduct myself in this life? You bet I do! Here’s my story…

I was fortunate enough to have parents that were concerned about what is really important, so at a young age I was instructed to learn and understand the most incredible book ever written… The Holy Bible. It seems a lot is said about this book in today’s society, but most is inacurate at best. How do I know this? I’ve read it through 35 times in 35 years and studied it in order to understand it. This is not second hand information, but “straight from the horse’s mouth” as the old expression says. I’m not stating this to brag by any means, but to hopefully add some credibility to what I am writing to you. This is the book that changed my life. There are certain themes and teachings that are readily apparent. What are some of these? It tells us how God created a perfect world, but it became imperfect when the first two people Adam and Eve sinned. Since then everyone has been born into sin. I’ve sinned and you know you have too. Now it sure doesn’t seem fair that I should be blamed for someone else’s mistake though, don’t you think? I didn’t think so either. I didn’t think it was fair that I should be born predisposed to sin when I didn’t mess it up in the first place. You know what though? I found out that later in the Bible one man that was also God (conceived through the immaculate conception) never sinned and was killed to take away my sins and anyone’s sins who simply accepts that gift and repents (turns away from the old sinful life) and gives their life to following Him (Jesus Christ). How is that fair? Someone that didn’t sin got killed for all humanity to correct the sin problem. As a God of love it shows in the Bible that He wants each one of us to decide for himself, rather than forcing anyone to change. I did just that one evening not all that long before I started reading The Bible through each year. I mean it only seems logical that if I want to learn about God I would read His book, don’t you think? Yes, I’ve checked out the historicity of The Bible and been amazed at its incredible amount of fulfilled prophecies. I know it well enough to know it is fact. Those that have tried to denounce it have never been able to. In fact those that have seriously tried to have always had no choice but to agree that it is fact. I even present that same challenge to you. Here are some scripture references from the Bible to support what I just wrote—don’t just take my word for it.John 3:16 (You can escape hell and have eternal life.)John 3:7 (You must change “be born again” to receive eternal life.)Romans 3:23 (Everyone has sinned.)Romans 5:8 (Jesus Christ died for us.)John 14:6 (There is no other way to God, but through Jesus Christ.)Romans 6:23 (Eternal life is God’s gift.)Galatians 2:8-9 (It’s God’s grace that saves—no good thing we can do to earn it.)I John 1:9 (If we confess our sin, God will forgive it.)Revelations 3:20 (You must receive God’s gift—doing nothing doesn’t cut it. Talk to God (pray) to make things right.)What is really great is that Jesus Christ didn’t just die in my (and your) place. He proved he has power over death by raising himself from the dead three days later (The real reason for the Easter Celebration). That means I can have confidence that He will raise me to eternal life with him as it states in I John 5:13!

What does all this have to do with real estate? I believe The Bible and what it stands for. This includes always telling the truth (Exodus 20:16). It means loving my neighbor (you the client) as myself (Leviticus 19:18, Matthew 19:19 & 22:39). In other words I treat you as I would like to be treated as best I can. It also means I care about fellow humanity more than having personal fun, because I know that each person was created by God as a unique individual with a soul that lasts forever-- unlike all the other material goods which will be destroyed someday—and I can’t take them with me anyway. I came into this world with nothing and can take nothing out with me. I am still a person, surrounded with other people—none of us being perfect though, so please keep that in mind. Thank you for taking the time to read this to its conclusion and it is my hope that you also come to know the truth if you haven’t yet (John 14:6 & 8:32). If I don’t see you before, I hope to see you in heaven. (Oh and by the way, if you don’t have a Bible and don’t know where you can find one, it’s not an issue any more it’s online too! Do a search on "Holy Bible")

Sincerely,Lance Lindstrom (Just one beggar telling another where to find bread)

PS If per chance you are reading this and I along with many other people from all around the world have disappeared all at once, know that Jesus Christ has returned for His followers. This is in The Bible, of course, mentioned in I Thessalonians 4:16-17. You must follow Jesus Christ and stand against the world government that is in control after this takes place. Do not take the ID required to buy or sell. You will most likely be killed, but your eternal soul depends on rejecting it and what it represents. Again, read all about it in The Holy Bible—the greatest book ever written—the very Word of God that endures forever (Isaiah 40:8).
